No, but I meet therapeutic standards under NDIS guidelines to provide services. Click here to learn more about NDIS providers.

An unregistered provider is a counsellor who is not registered with the NDIS, but is still qualified to support participants. Certain services require mandatory registration (eg, specialised behaviour services, supports to NDIA-managed plans). Most lower-risk supports (community participation, theraupetic supports, household and daily living) don’t require registration, but still need to follow NDIS Code of Conduct. Learn more about registration here.

That’s totally ok. Counselling can seem like a scary experience, especially with the stigma that getting therapy used to have. You don’t need to know what to say or how to express it. You don’t need any clear goals to bring with you, we can figure that out together.

That’s ok. It’s hard to open up and share deeply personal information about yourself to someone you’ve just met. There’s no pressure to share everything immediately and with perfect clarity. We go at your pace.

It’s part of the human experience to meet people that you just don’t vibe with. Counsellors are no exception to this rule. If you have tried counselling before and it hasn’t been a positive experience, that’s ok. The professional may not have been the right fit for you, or you may have not felt ready to put the work in with them this time. The fact that you’re considering therapy again is such a huge step forward in your growth and you should feel proud of yourself for getting here.

That depends on you. Most people feel comfortable with sessions every 2 – 3 weeks, or just as needed. We can adjust session frequency over time.

Finding the right counsellor for you is always the priority and I won’t be offended if you decide we aren’t a good fit. You can start with one session and see how it feels, and ask questions before booking. If there are other services that I feel may be a better fit for you, I’ll always let you know.

Everything you share is confidential, unless there is a risk of harm. If I need to share any information (eg, referring you to another service) I’ll always ask first.

You can book in online here, or send me an email.

I’m always happy to answer any questions you have, feel free to contact me.
